1.
To conduct, sponsor, undertake seminars, training programs and conferences
in the field of industrial relations;
2. To initiate, sponsor, support, promote assist or conduct basic
and applied research and development programs and projects in the
field of industrial relations and labor relations;
3. To publish, and distribute or cause to be published or distribute
without profit, the research output or projects and research programs;
4. To provide scholarship for the members of the Foundation as well
as academic and administrative staff of the U.P. SOLAIR;
5. To promote and provide consultancy, technical assistance and
service to government, private institutions, and workers/employers'
organizations;
6. To assist in strengthening the library, and upgrading of the
facilities of U.P. SOLAIR;
7. To grant scholarships and professional chairs in labor and industrial
relations to deserving individuals, including members of the Foundation;
8. To receive, manage and disburse any funds, donations, contributions,
gifts and endowments in cash, assets and resources from governmental
and non-governmental sources, local or foreign, entrusted, donated,
endowed or given to the Foundation;
9. To enter into contract and execute with any persons, corporations,
partnerships, or associations, governmental or otherwise, any management
contract, trust agreement or any lawful agreement for the management
and/or investment of funds of the Foundation...;
10. To undertake such other activities and projects as are necessary
for the attainment of the objectives and purposes of the Foundation.
