UP SOLAIR is hosting a free onsite seminar-workshop on August 28, 2026, focusing on contracting and subcontracting regulations under DOLE Department Order No. 174-17 and evolving jurisprudence. Led by Atty. Alvin Liao Alburo, the afternoon session provides practical compliance insights tailored especially for HR practitioners and leaders in the manufacturing sector.

On July 23, 2026, UP SOLAIR hosted the Quality Assurance (QA) Team from the UP School of Library and Information Studies (UP SLIS) for a benchmarking session. The meeting allowed UP SOLAIR to gain valuable insights from UP SLIS’s successful ASEAN University Network–Quality Assurance assessment to help strengthen its own QA initiatives.

On July 9, 2026, the UP SOLAIR Center for Labor and Grassroots Initiatives (CLGI) conducted a Mandatory Eight-hour Safety and Health (MESH) seminar for Barangay Health Workers across the Philippines. Led by Dr. Ronahlee A. Asuncion, the seminar was organized in partnership with various labor organizations to enhance workplace safety for BHWs.

UP SOLAIR recently concluded the online 198th class of its Workers' Institute on Labor Laws (WILL) seminar, graduating fifty-six participants from across the Philippines. Directed by Asst. Prof. Atty. Alvin Liao Alburo, the three-day session provided attendees with a deeper understanding of labor laws to promote decent work and industrial peace.
