Call for Papers:  Phil. Journal of Labor and Industrial Relations (PJLIR) Issue 2021

The Philippine Journal of Labor and Industrial Relations( PJLIR) calls for submission of articles for possible inclusion in its forthcoming 2021 issue.     

A double blind refereed  journal,  aims to publish the best articles which contain findings of research, theoretical or empirical, on employment, labor, industrial relations as well as human resource management and development, in the practice of outstanding scholarship.  The PJLIR is  published every year by the School of Labor and Industrial Relations, University of the Philippines-Diliman.

The PJLIR has the following  mechanics/format for article submission

  • The manuscript must be original, recent, and has not been published or considered for publication elsewhere.   
  • The article should be single-spaced with a margin of 1 inch on all sides.  Manuscript font: Times Roman 12 points for text;  12.5 bold for captions of sections, figures and tables, etc. 
  • Length:  approximately 25 pages,  in Word Document (file format: 4KeyWords.PJLIR2021.docx) format.  Attach  your visuals,  graphs or tables as separate annexes. 
  • Citations and references:APA style. 
  • Keywords should not be more than four words. 
  • Abstract:  around 150 words.  should incorporate both the key findings and the salient arguments of the author.

Since the manuscript shall undergo a double blind review process (the author and the reviewer(s) do not know each other),   remove, delete or rephrase any reference to the author and institutional affiliation.  
The Editorial Team shall endeavor to publish online the PJLIR 2021 issue on or before 31 December 2021.   Printed copies shall also be made available for circulation.
