Guidelines
- The manuscript must be original and recent and must not have been published or considered for publication
- The article should be single-spaced with a margin of 1 inch on all
- Manuscript font: Times Roman 12 points for text; 5 bold for captions of sections, figures, and tables.
- Length: approximately 25 pages, in Word Document (file format: docx) format; Visuals, graphs, or tables as separate annexes.
- Citations and references: APA
- Keywords should not be more than four
- Abstract: around 150 words or not more than 300 Should incorporate both the key findings and the salient arguments of the author.
โPointers towards a well-written journal articleโ
- Abstract โ it is the condensed view of the article which is usually not more than 300 The abstract should be structured in such a way that each sentence provides: (a) context of the research problem; (b) main research question; (c) methodology; (d) main findings; and (e) concluding arguments. Thatโs about give or take 5 sentences in total within 300 words.
- Introduction and Contextualization โ this section contextualizes the research problem (what about it?) and concisely state the research issue or question or problem or After identifying the research problem/issue, the purpose of the research can be drawn out and stated clearly in this section (what the research wanted to do).
- Methodology โ is the section that contains the framework on how the research questions will be answered which includes the analytical framework (i.e., explaining concepts and how they will be operationalized in the research). This section likewise explains how data will be gathered and how they interface with the research questions because it is important to get the right data for the research questions and The visualization of the paperโs analytical framework needs to be explained in this section. The analytical/conceptual framework is the interlinkages and correlation of the research concepts, units of analysis and empirical evidence interlinked towards answering the research questions. The research methods are thus discussed in this section as well as the research ethics protocol utilized while gathering data.
- Review of Related Literature (RRL) โ this section discusses the related studies on the topic and how or where the literature has congregated and The review is like mapping the available literature out there related to the topic to avoid repetition of research and how the available literature contribute in the researchโs analytical framework. After mapping, it would be easier to find the research gap upon which this research shall contribute in the body of knowledge.
- Analysis – this section has to convey the analysis of the research with clarity and The discussion needs to correlate the data with the research questions and related literature towards strengthening or disputing the research arguments.
- Conclusion and recommendations โ summarize the findings as they respond to the research Discuss as well the impacts of the study to the body of knowledge as it responds to the research gap on the subject field as well as its implications in the fields of policy and practice. The recommendations can include proposed policy reforms and/or agenda for stakeholders such as government, labor organizations and employers.
