From Learning to Leading: Alumni Share How IRHR Helped Them Succeed

For years, the Certificate Course in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management (IRHR) at UP SOLAIR has equipped HR professionals, business leaders, and aspiring specialists with a solid foundation in HR and Industrial Relations. Beyond theories, the program emphasizes practical application, career advancement, and professional credibility.

Across the past five classes of IRHR (batches 18–22), participants rated the program highly on a 5-point scale with an average of 4.67. These consistently strong ratings reflect the program’s ability to meet the diverse needs of HR practitioners and leaders.

Participants shared that what they liked best about the program was the additional knowledge gained and the new professional connections built throughout the course. They valued the insights that were directly applicable to real-world HR challenges, as well as the engaging interactions and brainstorming sessions with co-participants, which enriched their learning experience. Many highlighted the expertise of professors, facilitators, and mentors, and appreciated the convenience of online access, which allowed participation even from outside NCR. They also emphasized the comprehensive course content, credible resource speakers, and practical sessions on HR applications, labor laws, employee relations, and engagement, which provided both depth and relevance. For many, the capstone projects were especially meaningful as they consolidated learning, while the supportive staff and inclusive learning environment made the program not only informative but also inspiring and enjoyable.
