The Philippine Journal of Labor and Industrial Relations (PJLIR) is now accepting submissions of articles for inclusion in its forthcoming 2025 issue.

The PJLIR is a double-blind refereed journal that aims to publish articles on research findings, theoretical or empirical, on employment, labor, industrial relations and human resource management and development in the Philippines and abroad. The PJLIR is published annually by the School of Labor and Industrial Relations of the University of the Philippines Diliman.

Manuscripts for submission to the PJLIR must be original, recent, and has not been published or considered for publication elsewhere, and must be formatted as follows:

  1. Single-spaced with 1-inch margins on all sides;
  2. In Times New Roman (font size 11) for the body;
  3. In Arial (font size 12) for section headings, figures, tables, etc.;
  4. A maximum of 30 pages in length;
  5. Utilizing the latest APA style citations and bibliography;
  6. Containing a maximum of four (4) keywords;
  7. With a 150-word (maximum) abstract containing salient arguments and key findings of the author(s); and
  8. Applying additional formatting, at the option of the author, for as long as such is/are consistently applied and done for purposes of increased readability.
